Our Holidays
Turkey

Welcome to yet more pages to our web site, it is hoped we can bring you some info and fun about our Holidays.
We have for the last 2 years been to Turkey, to a place called Hisaronu which as you can see from the above map is at the base of the surrounding mountains between Fethiye and Oludeniz
We also hope to bring you the best and the worst of our Holidays the later being very little if anything.
The holidays we have had over the past 2 years, this being the 3rd year have been some of the best we have had. The people of Turkey are some of the best you can meet, they are friendly, fun loving and well just great to be with.

Hisaronu
Turkey

Hisaronu main street by night and what a main street

Hisaronu, well this is the place we chose, the first time we went to Turkey, why? Well its sounded good, off the beaten track, BUT STILL FULL OF LIFE, and what a choice, it is great. Being set between the port of Fethiye and the beach at Oludeniz and being at the base of the mountains it is scorching during the day and cool at night, and there is cool and cool, well what I mean is its just nice.
It is hoped over the next few pages that I can show you what a great place Turkey is and what charming people they are.
Hisaronu is a small town set on the hillside and, yes it is a small town, yet a very lively one. The main street is where all the action takes place and consists of Restaurant's bars and shops, the people are very friendly and are all to eager to please.
(remember do be polite, if this over eagerness to please becomes a nuisance, a polite no thanks is all that is needed).
WARNING
I also found while in Turkey, that all the better deals were to be found in the town and not on the trips to the various factorys, that includes Gold, Carpets, Turkish Delight etc so be warned. Remember the rep on the trip will take you but do not forget they will get their cut which in turn will put the price up.
so remember help the local trader and at the same time get a better deal, with excellent service and a possible frienship that will last forever.
